AllStar Heating & Cooling Corp. is a close-knit, family-owned HVAC company that has served the Chicagoland area for over 40 years. We are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician/Installer who can work independently and begin performing service calls right away.
Competitive hourly pay based on experience, plus commission.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, repair, and install residential HVAC and IAQ equipment
- Service and install PTAC equipment
- Provide customers with professional recommendations and estimates
- Maintain truck stock, tools, vehicle, uniforms, and company property
- Complete work orders and paperwork electronically
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Assist with other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC field experience
- Trade school or classroom training does not count toward the required experience
- Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with HVAC service and installation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- EPA certification required; NATE certification is a plus
- Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and computers
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform physical labor and lift equipment and tools
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing
PTAC experience is a plus, but we are willing to train an experienced HVAC technician.

Compensation: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
